1. Remove the connection point between the grounding main line and the grounding body, or remove the connection point of all the branch lines of the grounding protection device on the grounding main line.

2. Insert two grounding rods into the road surface 400mm deep, one is 40m away from the grounding body, and the other is 20m away from the grounding body.

3. Place the grounding shaker on a leveled position near the grounding body, and then expand the connecting line.

(1) Use one connecting wire to connect the connecting wire pile E and the grounding body E' of the grounding protection device in the table.

(2) Use one connecting wire to connect the connecting wire pile C and the grounding rod C' 40m away from the grounding body in the table.

(3) Use a connecting wire to connect the connecting wire pile P and the grounding rod P' 20m away from the grounding body in the table.

4. According to the requirements of the ground wire resistance of the grounding body to be tested, adjust the coarse adjustment rotary switch (there are 3 adjustable ranges above).

5. Shake the ground shaker evenly at a rate of about 120 rpm. When the pointer is offset, adjust the fine-tuning dial until the pointer is centered. Multiply the reading value set by the fine-tuning dial by the coarse Adjusting the precise positioning magnification is the ground wire resistance of the grounding body to be measured. For example, the fine-tuning reading value is 0.6, and the coarse-adjusting resistance precise positioning magnification is 10, then the measured grounding wire resistance is 6Ω.
